Octavian. 30-29 BC. AR Denarius (3.86 g, 8h). Italian mint (Rome?). Bare head right / The Curia Julia (Roman Senate House), IMP CAESAR on architrave, Victory standing on globe at apex of pediment, warriors at the angles. RIC I 266; CRI 421; BMCRE 631; RSC 122. Superb EF, even light gray toning with golden hues around the devices.
