Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (3.70 g, 1h). Rome mint. Struck AD 193. IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG, laureate head right / L-EG X-IIII GE-M M V, TR P COS in exergue, aquila flanked by two signa. RIC IV 14; RSC 272; BMCRE 19. Good VF, darkly toned. Good metal for issue.
