Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ 30mm (15.55 g, 1h). Pautalia mint. AVT K M AVPH ANTWNINOC, laureate head right / OVLPI–AC PAVTALIAC, city view: figure within tetrastyle temple set on wooded acropolis; below, figure standing right and lighted altar within tetrastyle temple, seen in perspective left; pellet in pediment; figures in distyle shrines on either side of acropolis; to right at ground level, statue grouping consisting of three figures standing facing. Ruzicka 713 and pl. IX, 18 (same rev. die); SNG Copenhagen -; Varbanov 3405. VF, dark green patina, small pit on shoulder of obverse. Well struck for issue. Very rare.
