Eugenius. AD 392-394. AR Miliarense (4.42 g, 12h). Treveri (Trier) mint. D N EVGENI-VS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / GLORIA RO-MANORVM, Eugenius standing facing, head left, holding labarum in right hand and shield set on ground in left; TRPS. RIC IX 104; RSC 2†a; Gnecchi I, pl. 36, 13 (same dies); DOC -. Good VF, toned, minor porosity, shallow cleaning scratches in left field on reverse. Very rare denomination for Eugenius.

Gnecchi records only six miliarenses for Eugenius of four different types. Though Gnecchi personally possessed an example in his own collection which was struck from the same dies as the present specimen, he incorrectly listed the reverse legend as VIRTVS EXERCITVS instead of GLORIA ROMANORVM.
