w dESPOTH, Romanus I standing facing, wearing crown and loros, holding globus cruciger in right hand, extending left hand to Christ standing facing, laying right hand of blessing on Romanus and holding Gospels in left / COnSTAnT’ ET XPISTOF’ b’ R’, crowned half-length facing busts of Constantine VII, wearing loros, and Christopher, wearing chlamys, holding between them a long patriarchal cross. DOC III 6 var. (dECPOTH); SB 1743 var. (same). Near EF, minor scrape on edge at top. Very rare.
