BURGUNDIANS. Gundobald. 473-516. AV Solidus (4.41 g, 6h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck in the name of Anastasius I. D N ANASTA SIVS PR AVC, pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder in right hand, and shield with horseman motif on left arm / VICTORI A AVCCC(monogram), Victory standing left, holding voided long cross in right hand; monogram to left, star to right; CONOB. MEC 1, 336; Belfort 2241. Good VF. Very rare.
