PhILIPPVS DEI GRA FRANChORVM REX (triple annulet stops), Philippe, pointing upward with right hand and holding lis-tipped scepter in left, seated facing on draped throne with sides in the shape of lions under open tent, inside decorated with lis; tent topped by lis / + XPC VINCIT XPC REGNAT XPC INPERAT (double annulet stops; annulet after initial cross; first Ns retrograde), ornate cross fleurée with central four petalled flower, bars end in lis flanked by leaves; lis in quarters; all within quadrilobe with arches ending in trefoils, crowns in spandrels.
