L–VDOVIC´ DEI G´ COm Z DnS FLANDRI–E (double annulet stops), Lodewijk, crowned, in armor, and wearing ermine cape, standing facing, holding sword in right hand and resting left on shield set on ground; to left, crowned and crested helmet set on ground; ornate Gothic arch behind; FLANDRES in exergue / + BENEDICTVS QVI VENIT IN NOmINE DOmINI (double saltire stops; Ns retrograde), ornate cross fleurée with central circle containing lion rampant left; F-L-A-D in quarters; all within quadrilobe; trefoils in spandrels.
