CILICIA, Tarsos. Circa 440-420 BC. AR Third Stater (14mm, 3.42 g, 9h). Warrior advancing left, raising left hand, holding spear in right; ankh-like symbol to left / Forepart of Pegasos flying right; TRZ (in Aramaic) to right; all in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. CNG E-342, lot 327 (for stater of this issue), otherwise, unpublished. Lightly toned, granular surfaces, a few marks. VF. Apparently unique.
