Silphion plant / Head of Zeus Ammon right; A to right; all in dotted circular border within shallow incuse square with [B-A-P-K in corners]. SNG Copenhagen –; BMC –, but cf. p. clxxii for a discussion of issues with an isolated letter on the reverse; Gorny & Mosch 244, lot 389 (same obv. die). Toned, roughness, cleaning scratches/smoothing. Good VF. Extremely rare.
