Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Statue of Astarte standing facing, holding aphlaston, left foot on prow, being crowned by Nike on a column to right; on either side, genii standing on short pedestals holding globes, all within tetrastyle temple with steps, pellet in pediment; below, two winged genii riding dophins and holding tridents flanking steps; above, Poseidon and Beroë, winged Nikaii holding crowns flanking as actroteria. Rouvier 570; BMC 170. Brown patina, a few scratches, obverse off center. Good VF. |
