Iron two-faced blade. European. Iron Age. c. 5th–2nd centuries BCE. (Blade: 33 cm. With Handle: 54 cm. long) A short, two-faced blade with a tapered neck in iron. Tip is bent; tang extends into the handle. Very squat guard. The handle is utilitarian, with a bulbous bit at the upper third of the sword to fit the user’s hand. No pommel is present on the piece.
