COELESYRIA, Damascus. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ (16mm, 3.55 g, 12h). Laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind / River-god Chrysoroas reclining left, holding grain ears and cornucopia, resting on urn from which water flows. De Saulcy 3; Rosenberger 15 corr. (Nero). Dark green patina with earthen highlights. Near VF. Very rare, only two specimens in CoinArchives.
