Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields (the first partially in monogram form); to right, forepart of bridled horse right; uncertain letter on amphora, EP below; all within wreath. Thompson 167f (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. Lightly toned, scratches and marks, short flan crack, dig on obverse, small delaminations on reverse. Near VF. |
