Maximianus. As Senior Augustus (1st reign), AD 305-307. Æ Follis (27.5mm, 8.59 g, 6h). Aquileia mint, 1st officina. Struck circa May/June AD 307. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Fides standing facing, head left, holding signum in each hand; AQP. RIC VI 105. Toned trace silvering and glossy dark brown patina, a couple small metal flaws. Near EF. A riveting portrait struck on a broad unreduced flan. Very rare. Only one example in CoinArchives. The first offered in over ten years.
