Maximianus. As Senior Augustus (1st reign), AD 305-307. Æ Follis (27.5mm, 10.22 g, 12h). Aquileia mint, 1st officina. Struck circa May/June AD 307. D N MAXIMIANO SEN INVIC AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Fides standing facing, head left, holding signum in each hand; AQP. RIC VI 105 var. (obv. legend). Toned partial silvering and dark brown patina with some verdigris. VF. Very rare and unpublished with this longer obverse legend. Part of the die engraver’s centering circle still visible on the reverse.
