Bust left, wearing pointed helmet; trefoil-tipped scepter before / + OS·POL·D ON NOR :·, voided short cross, limbs united at base by two concentric circles with pellet in center; in each angle, broken annulet enclosing pellet. North 787; SCBC 1158. Deeply toned with hints of iridescence, wavy flan, minor deposits, some die rust. VF. Rare moneyer for this issue. |
