Radiate and cuirassed bust left, wearing balteus; head of eagle on breastplate, shield decorated with profectio of emperor: Philip on horseback riding left, being led by a standard-bearer and followed by a soldier / Eagle standing left, tail right, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; ANTIOXIA/S C in two lines in exergue. McAlee 962; RPC VIII Online 29159; Prieur 436. Toned, porous, scrapes and pit on obverse, scratch on reverse. VF. Very rare. Four known to Prieur, six in RPC. |
