Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields; to left, eagle standing right on thunderbolt; A(?) on amphora, ΣΦ in exergue; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 456a (same obv. die as 451); HGC 4, 1602. Find patina, extensive cleaning scratches, struck with worn obverse die. Good Fine. |
