Nero. AD 54-68. Æ Sestertius (32.5mm, 23.49 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 64. Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Triumphal arch surmounted by statue of emperor in quadriga accompanied by Pax and Victory, flanked by two soldiers; a nude, helmeted statue of Mars in side niche of arch. RIC I 147; WCN 111; Elkins, Monuments Figure 79. Dark brown patina, smoothing and tooling. VF.

The arch to Nero was built in AD 62 to celebrate his victories in the Parthian War and the seizure of Artaxata.
