Laureate head right / FELICIT AS around, TEMP in exergue, Galley under sail with eight oarsmen right, gubernator at stern; vertical mast with small sail in middle, slanting mast without sail at prow. RIC IV 188; Thirion 348, note (there is no such coin in Paris); RSC 27. Lightly toned, minor scratches. Good VF. Very rare with this bust type. The normal bust type is laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right. |
