POTTERY. Holyland. Judaea under Roman Rule. 37 BCE – 70 CE. (100 mm tall x 60 mm wide). A round bodied Herodian period Juglet with red slip and painted embellishments partially present. The bulbous body extends into a long necks that terminates in heavily trumpeted neck and rounded lip. A single handle extends from the base of the neck to the body. Heavy wear on both the slip and painted portions of the vessel. From what is present, One can discern a painted central circle followed by concentric circles on the face of the body and paint on the handle present. Some deposits. Intact
