PHOENICIA, Tyre. Valerian I. AD 253-260. Æ (27mm, 14.31 g, 12h). Laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Dido standing right, both arms uplifted toward distyle shrine to upper right, seen in perspective; to lower right, murex shell and lighted altar. RPC X Online 62929; Rouvier 2504. Earthen brown patina, deposits, flan adjustment marks. Good Fine. Very rare, only two known to RPC.
