GLASS. Roman. 2nd – 4th Cent. CE. (70 mm tall x 45 mm wide). A molded fragment of an amphorskos shaped vessel with ovoid shaped body with an embossed pattern of central spirals, bordered by fields of vertical lines atop and below and two handles attached at the lip and the shoulder of the piece. Loss of lip and top of neck. Some encrustation and patina present on example. An attractive little piece. |
