POTTERY. Egypt. New Kingdoms Period. c. 1550-1050 BCE. (55 mm wide x 190 mm tall). A fancy Pilgrim’s Flask with attached cup at the end of the neck. The flask is round, a single neck extends centrally from it, handles extend from either side and taper to meet a small cup. Concentric bands adorn the flask centrally and again at the edge. Red glaze present over the entire flask. Some loss of paint and some spotting present on what is otherwise a great example of type. Intact. |
