Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (16mm, 2.45 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation of a Rome mint issue. Laureate head right / Bacchus (Liber) standing left, holding oenochoe over panther to left and holding thyrsus. Cf. RIC IV 32 (for rev. type); cf. RSC 301 (same). Toned, some iridescence, traces of deposits, hairline flan crack. Good Fine.
