POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (145 mm wide x 30 mm tall). An Apulian footed plate with a central head of a Lady of Fashion, hair worn up and bejeweled facing left. Surrounding several fields encompass the figure. From the most internal to the farthest outside: a running wave pattern, a running reverse S pattern and finally a field of vertical lines surround the plate. Large scratches on underside exterior glaze. Chip at foot.
