Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; to inner left, helmet right above monogram. Karayotov I – (O23/R– [unlisted monogram]); Price –; HGC 3, 1567. In NGC encapsulation 6821662-001, graded Ch AU, Strike: 5/5, Surface: 3/5. Exceptional detail, obverse struck at a very early die state. A wonderful coin in hand. Extremely rare, unpublished with this monogram.
