LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 540-510 BC. AR Third Nomos (17.5mm, 2.36 g, 12h). Ear of barley with seven grains and bracts at base / Incuse ear of barley with seven grains. Noe Class I, 29–33; HN Italy 1460. Lightly toned, some granularity, a few light scratches and small scuff on reverse. VF.
