Burrer Em. 1, Series 2, Group 2, 143 corr. (A35/R118; Є not E, bust not draped); BCD Thessaly I –; BCD Thessaly II 953; RPC III 464.1 (this coin). Dark green patina. Good VF. Very rare.

Achilles was the son of the Thessalian king Peleus and the sea nymph Thetis. This obverse type only appears on the Koinon of Thessaly during the reign of Hadrian.
