Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind; to right, star / Hexastyle temple; within, statue of Elagabalus standing facing, head left, holding spear and patera; [at feet left, altar]; in pediment, wreath. Johnston, Hierapolis 6 var. (bust in pediment); RPC VI Online 5432. Brown patina, light porosity, minor marks and flan flaws, green deposits on reverse. Near VF. Extremely rare, only one recorded in RPC.
