The Triumvirs. Mark Antony. Early summer 40 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.72 g, 10h). Military mint traveling with Antony in Greece; L. Munatius Plancus, moneyer. Lituus and capis / Sacrificial jug flanked by thunderbolt and caduceus. Crawford 522/2; CRI 253; Sydenham 1190; RSC 24; RBW1806. Deep cabinet toning with hints of iridescence, light scratches under tone, minor porosity, obverse off center. VF.
