Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (20mm, 4.19 g, 7h). ‘RSR’ mint. IMP CARAVSIVS AVG, radiate and draped bust right / EXPECTATI [...], Britannia standing right, holding standard, clasping hands with Carausius standing left, holding spear; RSR. Cf. RIC V 605 (for similar issue). Attractive green patina with some brown, slightly off center. VF.
