Struck circa 1205-1214. + LЄ RЄ WIL A, crowned head left; scepter to left / + hVЄ WALTЄR ·:·, voided short cross; stars in quarters (4 stars of 6 points). Burns 13c var. (fig. 49C; rev. legend; same obv. die); cf. SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 62-3 (for type); SCBC 5029. Toned, a few marks, slightly crmped. Near VF. A distinctive variety with a pronounced, jutting chin.
