Crowned facing bust, wearing loros, holding globus cruciger and eagle-tipped scepter / Cross potent set on three steps; I//CONOB. DOC 1j var. (obv. legend); MIB 1 var. (same); SB 1447. Toned and lustrous, trace obverse die rust, lightly clipped. EF. An interesting variety with Philippicus’ name spelled with two P’s instead of the more commonly found spelling with just one.
