Struck circa 1248-1250. + ALЄXANDЄR RЄX, crowned head left; scepter to left / + WALS : DЄ : PЄRT, voided short cross; stars in quarters (4 stars of 6 points). Coin Register 2018, 162 = AHP 143 (dies E.07/P.01; this coin); Burns –; SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), –; SCBC 5039. Find patina, some porosity, flan crack. Good Fine. Extremely rare transitional issue/ One of only two known from the Perth mint.
