Struck circa 1205-1214. · LЄI RЄI · WILLЄ ·, crowned head left; scepter to left / + hVЄ : WALTR, voided short cross; stars in quarters (4 stars of 6 points). Cf. Burns 9d (fig. 46B); cf. SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 60-1 (for similar); SCBC 5029. Toned. VF. Well struck, with a charmingly round portrait. An interesting die lacking the obverse initial cross.
