Crowned, armored, and draped bust left, all within border; XII (mark of value) to right; thistle at start of legend / Crowned coat-of-arms; crowned C R over pellets flanking; small F above crown. Murray p. 141, 4; Burns 44; cf. SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 1520-3 (for type); SCBC 5563. Toned, slight crease, a few light scratches and marks. VF.
