Confronted busts of Sol, radiate and draped, and Carus, radiate and cuirassed / Felicitas standing left, leaning on column, holding caduceus and transverse scepter; •X•I•. RIC V 99; Pink VI/2, p. 42. Dark green-brown deposits over gilding, cleaning scratches. Good VF. Very rare. Lot includes a letter from H. Thompson of the British Museum detailing conservation work done on the coin, dated 6 March 1934.
