IMP CARAVSIV S AVG, helmeted and cuirassed bust left, holding spear over shoulder and shield / TVT ELA, Tutela standing left, holding patera over altar to left and cornucopia. RIC V 686 var. (bust type); Malcolm Lyne, “Some New Coin Types of Carausius and Allectus and the History of the British Provinces: AD 286-296” in NC 2003, p. 159 and pl. 27, 15 corr. (obv. legend and rev. legend break; this coin). Dark brown and earthen patina with some green. VF. Extremely rare and likely unique with this bust type.
