Laureate, helmeted, and mantled bust of Constantinopolis left, holding scepter over shoulder / Victory standing left on prow, holding spear and resting hand on shield set on ground to right; PTR [sic]. RIC VII 524 (for similar issue as possible prototype); cf. CNG 518, 556 (for similar). Brown patina, slight rub at high points. EF. Fantastic imitative style. |
