GLASS. Roman. 2nd – 3rd Cent. CE. (55 mm tall x 70 mm wide - body 35 mm wide). A green glass vessel with a flat foot and tubular shaped body terminating in a folded lip. From one side of the body, a long, straight spout extends upwards at a 45-degree angle. Extensive iridescence and patina over the piece. Minor loss of the outer layer of patina at bottom, exposing pitted iridescent glass. Very attractive in hand. |
