Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (20.5mm, 4.51 g, 6h). Legionary issue. ‘C’ mint. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate and draped bust right / LEG VII CLA, bull standing right; SMC. Cf. RIC V 274 (for similar issue). Dark green-brown patina, slight roughness. VF. Extremely rare. Unpublished with this mint mark. The M in the mint mark erroneously cut upside down.
