Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with wreath; c/m: star, with pellets around, in incuse circle / Star between two dolphins. Holloway, Further, Series 4; CNS 62; HGC 2, 1436; SNG Morcom 697–703. Green patina, encrustation. Coin: Fine; c/m: Good VF. Interesting countermark, the pellets are around the periphery, but also flanking just one ray, suggesting the type might actually represent a comet.
