Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (22.5mm, 4.54 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Salus standing left, holding scepter and feeding serpent from patera which is coiled about and rising from altar at feet to left; S|P//ML. RIC V 155 var. (mint mark). Dark green patina, light roughness and cleaning scratches. VF. Unlisted in the old RIC V with this mint mark. Rare thus.
