Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (19.5mm, 4.03 g, 6h). ‘RSR’ mint. [...] CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate and draped bust right / FIDE S MILITVM, Fides standing facing, head left, holding a signa in each hand; R(retrograde)SR. RIC V – but cf. 608 (for similar reverse type). Green patina, flan crack, slight roughness, light cleaning scratches. VF. Extremely rare.
