Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (22mm, 3.45 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate and draped bust right / MART I P AC[...], Mars, lunging left, holding olive branch, spear, and shield; S|C//MLXXI. Cf. RIC V 90 (for similar issue). Dark brown and green patina, obverse die wear, light roughness, cleaning/smoothing scratches. Near VF. Extremely rare.
