Laureate heroic bust left, wearing aegis, seen from behind / Nude Herakles standing facing, head left, leaning on club to left, lion’s skin draped over left arm; ΠY ΘIA across field. Varbanov, Philippopolis XV.7.1.1; Mouchmov, Philippopolis 369;Varbanov 1435. Yellow-brown surfaces, porosity, scratches, smoothing, large edge split. Good Fine. Very rare, only two known to Varbanov, one other (this coin) in CoinArchives.
