CARIA, Antiochia ad Maeandrum. Nero. AD 54-68. Æ (13mm, 2.09 g, 12h). NEPΩNA, bare head right / KAΠЄTΩΛIO, Zeus Kapitolios seated left, holding patera and long scepter. Unpublished. Dark brown patina with earthen deposits, slight porosity. Near VF. Unique.

While no city ethnic is inscribed on this coin, the cult of Zeus Kapitolios is a common them on the coins of Antiochia ad Maeandrum. However, no coins are previously known to have been struck for Nero at this city.
