LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 350-250 BC. AR Obol (10mm, 0.78 g, 2h). Laureate head of Apollo right / Kithara, fillet hanging from right side; MY above, plectron to lower left. SNG Arikantürk II 803; cf. SNG Ashmolean 1550–5 (larger denominations); cf. HGC 6, 1043–4 (same). Toned, slight roughness. VF. Extremely rare denomination, only the Arikantürk piece published, reportedly another in the BN.
